Biography

Marcus Zuhr’s journey into music began, like many,  by learning to play the electric guitar as a youth. Years later, he  toured and played with various bands throughout North America, recording his own projects along the way.

A few more years slipped by, and having grown weary of the confines of the rock world, Marcus turned down several world touring opportunities in order to study music theory. Soon after, friend and film director, Thomas Buchan, offered Marcus a chance to write music for the award winning documentary, “Hope”, and Marcus quickly found himself joining forces with electronic music industry giant, Justin Moreh of the brilliant Shiloh brothers. Since then, Marcus has scored for many more films, promotions, ads, and video games, has become published by Hunyamunya and industry giant Fairwood music, and represented  by the world’s best, Bob Rice of FBI.

Marcus currently resides and works in Vancouver, BC.
